HubSpot opened Agent Hub and Agent Builder to public beta on July 23 for every Professional and Enterprise customer, and the problem it’s solving is one a lot of teams have quietly stumbled into: too many AI agents, no shared view of what any of them are actually doing. A marketing agent drafting emails, a sales agent qualifying leads, a service agent answering tickets, each one built separately, each one blind to what the others know about the same customer.
Agent Hub is the fix for the visibility half of that problem: one screen showing every agent running across a business, its live status, and its recent results, organized around actual goals like winning deals or scaling support rather than which department happens to own it. Agent Builder handles the other half, letting non-technical users create their own agents through natural-language prompts instead of waiting on a developer, and it runs directly against a company’s existing HubSpot CRM data without a separate setup step.
That last detail is the one worth paying attention to. A lot of “build your own agent” tools ask you to wire up data sources before the agent is useful for anything. Agent Builder skips that because it’s already sitting on top of CRM data the account has been accumulating for years, which is a real advantage if you’re already deep in HubSpot and a non-factor if you’re not.
Whether this actually reduces the agent sprawl problem depends on adoption inside individual teams, not the tool itself. A shared dashboard only helps if people actually look at it instead of building yet another one-off agent nobody logs into Agent Hub to check on.
